Gokarna: Karnataka Police on Friday rescued a Russian woman and her two minor daughters from a cave near Ramateertha Falls in Gokarna forest. The woman has been identified as 40-year-old Nina Kutina. According to the police, her visa had expired in 2017 and her daughters, aged 6 and 4 years, were born in India.
People and cops are in shock after learning that the woman was living in such a remote area with her minor daughters for years. When questioned, Nina Kutina revealed that she visited India on a tourist visa in 2017 and had been residing in Goa ever since. She said she came to Karnataka four days ago.
