The Congress party on Saturday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his latest foreign visit to Kuwait saying the "frequent flyer" is off to the West Asian country while people of Manipur continue to wait for his visit.
PM Modi embarked on his two-day visit to Kuwait on Sunday, the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in the last 43 years.
Congress general secretary in-charge Jairam Ramesh wrote on X: "Such is their fate, as Mr Modi refuses to find a date. The people of Manipur continue to wait, while the Frequent Flyer PM is off to Kuwait."
